Barrel Prop

This is the Barrel prop I created I wanted it to go with Crate and the planks of wood, I used polygon modeling to create the barrel.

This is is the texture I used for the barrel, I used a UV map to attach this to the mesh. I wasn't really to happy about the end result, the barrel ended up being pixelated and distorted. I decided to keep the barrel but just cover it up with the planks of wood. It was an interesting process as I had never dealt with UV mapping a circular object, but I hope to keep working at it so I understand how to deal with these kind of meshes, even thought texturing and UV mapping isn't something I want to get into, although it's something that I would really love to have in my arsenal of abilities.
